Lads trip to Dublin staying at Maldron Hotel, Cardiff Lane Dublin.

As lads on tour we wanted to have the full Ireland golfing experience, and this of course meant heading into Dublin and the notorious Temple Bar. The perfect location to do this from is the Maldron Hotel. It is in the centre of Dublin and within easy reach of any of the local attractions including numerous restaurants, local sights and of course a few bars. This is the perfect place to experience the capital in its full glory.
If you arrive by car it would be best not to make the same mistake as us and guess where the local car park is. After a quick dash out of the car and into reception it is indeed easy to find but for seven guys fresh from the 19th at Portmarnock it was too much to ask. Once you have made your way over to the hotel the check in is as polite and efficient as you could want. With a quick swipe of a credit card we were in the lift to the rooms.
The rooms themselves are extremely good value for money. They have all the amenities you could need as well as room service for those few who may struggle for breakfast in the morning. Another added benefit is the balcony on offer from which you can view the hustle and bustle of the city centre. All of this, as well as a quick shower in the excellent bathroom, meant we were back down to reception within a matter of minutes. The receptionist was excellent and while half of our group were discussing where to get a taxi from a 7 seater was sitting at the entrance waiting for us. After visiting the city centre my advice would be that you can’t go wrong. After walking into one bar we didn’t leave / stumble out until a good few hours had passed.
Once we arrived back at the hotel needless to say we didn’t find it a struggle to fall asleep. The breakfast that was laid on was an excellent rolling buffet… I heard. A couple of us may have been a bit over aggressive with the snooze button. However, I believe this is a problem the Maldron staff have come across before as they provided cups for us to take our coffee on the go and in my defence the beds were extremely comfy. All in all we had a fantastic time enjoying the world class golf and nightlife in Dublin; alongside this we experienced unbeatable customer service at Maldron Hotel Cardiff Lane.
